Breaking Serenity Biography

Breaking Serenity is an alternative metal band from Southern California known for their emotionally charged sound, immersive concept storytelling, and bold creative vision. Formed by Chris Anguiano, Niko Garcia, and Antonio Gonzales, the band blends haunting melodies, heavy breakdowns, and cinematic soundscapes that connect deeply with listeners.

 

Their debut album Letters From a Pandemic is a concept-driven release that follows Serenity, a young girl coping with trauma by escaping into a vivid imaginary world known as The Paracosm. The album features 27 collaborations with standout artists including Myke Terry (Volumes, Fire From The Gods) appearing on multiple tracks, Alexia Rodriguez (EyesSetToKill) , and Producer Misstiq whose work includes artists such as Bring Me The Horizon, The Amity Affliction, and I Killed The Prom Queen.

 

Breaking Serenity has built a reputation for producing their own mini-festival style events, frequently performing alongside collaborators and drawing near-capacity crowds at venues such as House of Blues and Garden Amphitheatre. The band will headline a showcase at the Whisky a Go Go on June 14 as part of their continued live expansion.

 

Their recent single “Away From Here” (Featuring Myke Terry) have helped push the band past 67,000+ YouTube views alongside a TikTok following of 26,000+. Breaking Serenity has also been featured on 95.5 KLOS and 96.7 KCAL Rocks, continuing to build momentum across platforms while expanding the story-driven universe of The Paracosm.
